Fruit will be availible for pick up at Acton High from around noon until 7:00 at night.

Holiday Concert

Come one, come all.....to our holiday concert. This years theme is "Let it Snow!"

On Thursday, Dec. 10 at 7:00 the Acton High School Music Department will present its holiday concert in the cafeteria at the school. There is no admission cost and snacks and drinks will be provided at intermission. This is a great chance to see what is happening at the school and get yourself in the holiday spirit.

Band members are asked to be at the school for 6:15 in order to tune and prepare.

Feeder School Tour Day

We are getting ready to tour MSB, Robert Little and Brookville this Thursday, December 3rd. It is important that everyone arrive at the school no later than 8:15 so that we can load the buses and be on our way.

We will be stopping for lunch half way through the day and you can either bring a bag lunch or some money to by lunch.

We will be back at the school in time for everyone to take their buses home if they need to.

If you want to take part, you must have your permission form in no later than Tuesday, December 1st.

Trip Questions Answered

Here is some clarification to a couple of questions that were asked during the trip info meeting last night.

Insurance:

You are covered for cancellation if.....

1. You or your immediate family develops a medical condition
2. You, your immediate family or friend dies
3. The board cancels the trip for any reason (like H1N1)

Student ID:

1. A Canadian Passport is the best option
2. Without a passport each student must have a birth certificate and GOVERNMENT issued photo ID. This includes Health Cards but not student cards.

Drum Circle Rescheduled

Jeff is coming back to do the drum circle with us on Thursday, December 17. Rember you must have attended 80% of the band rehearsals in order to attend. A fieldtrip list will be posted outside of the music room and on the blog.

Parent Info Night

Just a reminder that the parent information night for the band trip to Chicago is this Thursday, November 19 at 7:00 pm in the music room
