Jazz Band Rehearsals 2010/11

Jazz Band rehearsals will be on Wednesday's from 3:30 until 4:45 this year. Our first rehearsal will be Wednesday, September 22.

Concert Band Rehearsals 2010/11

Concert Band rehearsals will be in their usual slot on Tuesday after school from 3:30 until 5:00.

Our first meeting is this Tuesday, September 14 and will only run until 4:00

Welcome to another exciting year at Acton High School. We have a lot of exciting things planned for this year so buckle up. Below are some dates that you should mark on your calander:

Tuesday, Sept. 14, 3:30 - 4:00 - Band member first meeting and Band Excutive first meeting
Tuesday, Sept. 21, 3:30 - 5:00 - First Band Rehearsal
Wednesday, Sept. 22, 3:30 - 4:45 - First Jazz Band Rehearsal

Rehearsals Until Exams

There will be no Jazz Band rehearsals until after exams. There is a concertband rehearsal on Jan. 5 and12. Rehearsals will then be suspended until after exams.

FRUIT SALE PICKUP

Fruit will be availible for pick up at Acton High from around noon until 7:00 at night.

Holiday Concert

Come one, come all.....to our holiday concert. This years theme is "Let it Snow!"

On Thursday, Dec. 10 at 7:00 the Acton High School Music Department will present its holiday concert in the cafeteria at the school. There is no admission cost and snacks and drinks will be provided at intermission. This is a great chance to see what is happening at the school and get yourself in the holiday spirit.

Band members are asked to be at the school for 6:15 in order to tune and prepare.
